Applications

Bestobell Valves design and manufacture a range of cryogenic valves, including globes, gates, checks, strainers, thermal relief’s and fill assemblies. These valves are used with numerous cryogenic gases such asoxygen, carbon dioxide, nitrogen, liquid natural gas (LNG) and argon. The applications supported by our cryogenic valves include static storage tanks, environmental control, management of medical gases used in hospitals, through to gas handling systems on LNG ships.

In addition Bestobell Valves supply a complete portfolio of standard bronze valves and fluid control technology from the Birflo range, which includes Straitflo, Truflo, Constaflo and FluidMix. These are used in flow control systems for food/beverage plants, pharmaceutical production facilities, and cooling plants used for defence weapons systems.

The latest technology developed by Bestobell is the ASPRO – Automatic Sensing Pressure Reversing Oburator. This product was designed specifically to overcome back contamination issues when filling CO2 vessels used in the food / beverage sector. This problem that had resulted in numerous food products being tainted due to the use of contaminated C02, the ASPRO product prevents this contamination-taking place.
