The Bestobell LNG valves are stainless steel non-extended and extended needle globe valves, with bolted bonnets and integral metal seats. These are available with socket weld, butt weld and flanged ends, the valve is of the cone seat design for drop tight shut off, and the bolted bonnet provides easy access for on-site maintenance. The needle globe valves currently come in sizes between ½” (15mm) and 2”(50mm), with working pressures to 50 bar (725 psig) at –196 to +65 degC, body strength tested to 75 bar.

These valves are currently being used in a wide range of applications including, the marine LNG sector where Bestobell LNG have already supplied a significant number of valves to both Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) and Daewoo Shipping Marine and Engineering (DSME). The valves have been integrated in the latest LNG vessels due to for use in gas sampling / handling.
