During the past few months we have developed a new range of stainless steel swing check valves and manual/actuated gate valves details of which can be found below.
We have recently updated our website, which now includes up to date product
information and details of our global distribution network - please visit
www.bestobellvalves.com.
In addition there is an exciting new development at Bestobell - we have
recently expanded our industrial gas business into the LNG sector, forming a
new business - Bestobell LNG, initial details of which can be found on
www.lngvalves.com.
To manage this new business we have brought back a former colleague - Andy
Brown who will manage Bestobell LNG. Andy has recently returned from Qatar where he
has been actively involved in the LNG sector for the past few years. If you
would like to contact Andy to catch up on his travels, or have a specific
interest in our new business, please contact Andy by e-mail on andrewb@lngvalves.com or +44 (0) 7837

Stainless Steel Bestobell Valves has introduced a range of PN50 (Class 300) Stainless Steel Swing Check Valves from DN25 (1") to DN80 (3") for use in cryogenic applications. The Valves will be CE marked and suitable for sales in both Europe and ROW markets.
A stainless steel bodied swing check valve with a PTFE seal incorporated into the valve disc to give a drop tight shut of at ambient temperatures and a leakage rate complying with EN1626 (Valves for Cryogenic Service) under cryogenic conditions. The design has a bolted bonnet as standard on all sizes and incorporates the 'Super-Finish' Seat face.
All valves are degreased for oxygen duty, assembled in clean room conditions and sealed in robust polythene bags for despatch.
Product Range
DN25 25mm Swing Check Valve
DN40 40mm Swing Check Valve
DN50 50mm Swing Check Valve
DN80 80mm Swing Check Valve
Connections:
Schedule 10 Butt Weld Bodies
Socket Machined End Bodies
Delivery Lead Time:
7 -8 weeks
Features and Benefits:
DescriptionStainless steel full bore rising spindle gate valve - pneumatically actuated or manual for inclusion into cryogenic systems. The larger bore on this range of gate valves reduced cavitation on trailer pumps resulting in increased flow rates.
The design incorporates tapered faces on the upstream face of the body and wedge, together with a PTFE seal fitted into the 'flexible wedge'.
A unique feature of this product is the removable body seat to eliminate the risk of damage caused when the valve is welded into the customers' pipeline.
All valves are degreased for oxygen service, assembled under clean room conditions and sealed in robust polythene bags prior to despatch before leaving our clean area.
Design Standards
The valve meets the requirements of BS EN 1626 (1999)
Test Pressures Working Pressures
